El a\u00f1o nuevo comienza de la mejor manera para una familia local y para todos nosotros en Ukraine Defense Support. \u00a1Roman Perehoda ha sido liberado del cautiverio ruso tras casi tres a\u00f1os como prisionero de guerra! Su familia ahora vive en Bonney Lake despu\u00e9s de escapar del sur de Ucrania con sus otros siete hijos en la primavera de 2022, cuando los invasores rusos avanzaban cada vez m\u00e1s cerca de su pueblo.<\/p>\n

La familia recibi\u00f3 la noticia de su liberaci\u00f3n el 29 de diciembre.el<\/sup>. Al d\u00eda siguiente, Roman llam\u00f3 a sus padres por tel\u00e9fono desde la regi\u00f3n de Chern\u00edgov, en Ucrania, cerca de donde \u00e9l y otros 188 exprisioneros de guerra ucranianos cruzaron a Ucrania, en un emotivo reencuentro. Sus primeras palabras fueron: \u201c\u00a1Mam\u00e1, ya estoy en casa!\u201d. Su madre, Valeria, tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 que su hijo le hab\u00eda dicho que hab\u00eda estado preocupado por ella y que su voz sonaba fuerte. La familia tambi\u00e9n recibi\u00f3 una foto de Roman en el autob\u00fas que los llevar\u00eda a la libertad.<\/p>\n

Roman recibir\u00e1 atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y terapeutas en Ucrania para ayudarlo a sanar y rehabilitarse tras a\u00f1os de privaciones, hambre y otros abusos indescriptibles. Valeria planea viajar a Ucrania lo antes posible. Se ha iniciado una campa\u00f1a de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos para apoyar a la familia durante este tiempo y ayudar a Valeria con sus viajes de ida y vuelta a Ucrania, as\u00ed como para que su hijo pueda venir a Estados Unidos para su rehabilitaci\u00f3n completa.\u00a0https:\/\/fundly.com\/help-reunite-biletskiy-family.<\/a><\/p>\n
