Successful Fundraising Events in June!

Polish Home Dinner

UDS would like to thank all of our donors & volunteers who made our June 10th event a huge success. Generous & creative contributions to our silent auctions and craft tables significantly contributed to our fundraising efforts. We are thankful to all who donated items to help us raise funds. Guest speakers during the event included our own Carl Larson, Tanya Keppler member of delegation to Ukraine and former United States Representative Jim McDermott.

During the June 10th dinner UDS raised $17,169 to support the brave men and women on the front lines in Ukraine!

The event included delicious appetizers and fantastic Polish dinner. Activities included silent auctions for a variety of items including bidding for desserts as well as raffle ticket prizes.

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church Lunch

UDS would like to thank Anna who made our June 11th lunch fundraising event possible. By volunteering her time and culinary abilities Anna was able to raise $2,290 during this successful and well attended event. Carl Larson was a keynote speaker at this event.

Building Support for Ukraine Through Community Events

Bring Our Kids Home and Kakhovka Dam Rally at Seattle City Hall

On June 10th UDS along with the Ukrainian Community of Puget Sound participated in a rally highlighting the kidnapping and forcible deportation of Ukrainian children by russia. Crimes of genocide, kidnappings and illegal deportation of children as well as terrorist attack on the Kakhovka dam were the main reasons for the rally, organized by Klich & Ukrainian Association of Washington. The UDS team was well represented in the rally and march through the streets of Seattle.

4th of July parades in Kirkland and Edmonds WA

UDS teams marched together with the Ukrainian Association of Washington to express gratitude to American people for their support of Ukraine. Well represented teams attended and marched in the holiday parades in both Kirkland, WA and Edmonds, WA.

Political Advocacy for Ukraine

The UDS Team had the distinct honor of meeting with Representative Adam Smith
(WA-9), the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee for a very productive discussion on how we can continue to provide support for Ukraine.

Ukraine Defense Support purchased and shipped numerous drones to Ukraine. Delivered two Mavic 3 drones and DJI Mavic 3T to defenders. Delivered DJI MIni 2/ Air 2/Air 2S drones with spare batteries and wire repair harnesses.
